See what our customers have to say about our best selling coffee machine descaler

  • These are stupid easy to use – just dump it in and fill with 1L of water, and then follow the directions for your coffee maker to descale. I used this on my Keureg with their directions, as well as a manual drip coffee pot by running it though a brew cycle and then two rinse cycles with plain water, and both worked out wonderfully.
This isn’t as cheap as the vinegar method, but is less stinky by far and easier to store for when you need it.

  • We all hate that little light that comes on telling us that we need to descale our machines. We have a Keurig in the office, but no one wants to go through the descaling process ….. nor does anyone know how to do this arduous task. This powder is super easy. Even a dodo like me can do this. I gotta say that it was so satisfying to see the calcium stains gone from the water reservoir! Yes!

  • My drip coffee pot has been warning me for weeks that it needs to be cleaned, so when I came across these eco-friendly descaling pods, I decided to give them a try. There are four packets of cleaning solution to a package. I simply ran a pot of water mixed one packet of the powder as if I was making a pot of coffee. Easy peasy, simple as that. Since I waited longer than I should have to clean my pot, I’m going to run another packet as a precaution. I always buy the environmentally friendly product when it’s available, so that’s a major plus for me. Ease of use, eco-friendly and effective. Recommended.

  • I have tried several different liquid descales, as well as vinegar, for descaling my coffee maker. Honestly, none of them have ever visually provided much of a difference as far as the look of build up/scale on the interior of the water reservoir. With this in mind, I was stunned to see how much better The Green Pods Eco Decaler worked. It actually lifted the scale and build up from the reservoir! Due to the design of my coffee maker, it is darned hard to get those bits out (probably would have been kept in check if I had been using this brand all along), but I could 100% see the difference in the clarity of my water reservoir container (clear) and the calcium build up on the bottom of the reservoir. The only negative about this product is the price- it comes in at a steep $5 per cleaning cycle, which doesn’t seem to be very reasonable. Should this go on sale, I’d buy it in a heartbeat!
